コロナ禍によって外に出られなかったりイベントが中止になってるする流れが起きたことで例えばホールで行われる音楽ライブや各種イベント貸し会議室で開催されるセミナー室内スタジオで行われるフィットネスヨガなど余暇や自己研鑽のために過ごす場所だけでなく学校の教室や企業の職場でさえも一つの場所に多くの人が集まれない日々が続いています。
そこで注目されたのがリアルからオンラインへの移行です。学校の授業でもオンラインが模索されていましたし企業でもズームなどを活用してオンライン生かしていく働き方が進んできました。
ただオンラインを少しずつリアルに戻していくすなわちオンラインとリアルを併用したハイブリッド配信の実現へとライブ配信の世界は変わりつつあると思います。
マネタイズの問題でいえば個人ライブ配信をする人たちは投げ銭機能で収益を得るケースがあります。例えば YouTubeやライブにはスーパーチャットがありますが配信者に対して金銭が投じられたりアイテムが購入されることで配信者に対していくらかの収益が支払われたりするなどその方法は様々です。
YouTube が広告収入で収益を得ているのと同じように最近ではライブ配信をすることで収益を得る人が増えています。個人の場合はこうしたマネタイズの手段ができていますが企業ではなかなか収益に繋がらず辞めてしまった企業も少なくありません。
ところがコロナ禍によって改めて企業ライブ配信を活用することでマネタイズを模索するようになってきました。投げ銭という形でなくチケットを販売するということで収益を得るというのは今まさに始められているところです。ライブ配信をするには機材などのコストがかかりますがオンラインに移行していくことで収益を得ることは良いことだと思います。
